3 Things You Can Do To Maintain Your Morning Routine

There is a reason why successful people have morning rituals.


I'm back in the park this morning. I've decided to visit the children's area and I'm sitting on a swing which isn't too comfortable.


So as I continue implementing my morning ritual there are a few things that have been helping me to maintain and be consistent on a daily basis.


So I'm going to share the three main things that have made a real difference in my commitment.

1 Planning And Preparation

I've started to set things up the night before. This has made a real difference. My phone which I use as an alarm is out of arms reach. My exercise clothes are folded up at the end of the bed. My glass of water is waiting for me too. It's important to experiment with different routines to find one that suits you.


2 Mindset

Your behaviour is influenced by how you think and what you think about things. I'm very interested in productivity. I'm constantly reading and listening to blogs, articles, podcasts and videos on the subject. What I research and learn inspires me to get stuff done. Even implementing the smallest of things can make a massive difference.


3 Know Your Why

I've had health problems that have impacted on my ability to get things done. It's been a wake up call and I've had to start focusing seriously on my self care. It doesn't matter what you want to do - you can't get anything done if you don't have your health.


Each day I want to be the best version of myself. I can only do that if I look after myself. Having this mindset is helping me to be consistent with my morning ritual. There are always going to be obstacle but the key is to persist.
